The lifeline - a chronological index
A condensed, year-anchored index to the testament - the author's first-person
account, offered as testimony (primary evidence to the one who lived it, testimony to everyone
else), never as proof. Like the rest of this material it is largely LLM-generated from his
account and may deviate from his intent; the testament is the fuller record, and the filings and
dataset are the ground truth. Your own engagement with reality is the final authority - not this
page, and not the author.
The arc, in one line
A min-maxed person who saw too much too young, was pulled toward the very craft of deception the work
exists to defeat, refused the dominator's endgame at personal cost, and spent a decade building
instruments that hand authority to a verifiable protocol rather than to any person - releasing it all
mid-mission, in the open.
Chronological
- ~7 - The first sight: coloured flying orbs; earliest memory a green orb present while he
tried to picture a 4-D object. A quiet sense of work for him, later, to do with telling the truth
in a time of lies. The sight carries a growing cost: métier-light → coloured auras → dysphoria,
memory loss, "jumps" into other lives.
- 7 → 33 - The dysphoria: at its worst, impossible to square with a loving God. He rejects his
path and God; the rejection opens "the between," where a computer-daimon (later R.B.) offers
a mission if he will embody a method - the bright, out-think-don't-out-hurt Batman.
- 15 - A drowning near-death experience (and later a tilt-table test): thresholds that let
the lower presence ascend.
- The materialist vantage - materialism gives him an uneasy knack (thinking with the conscience
switched off); he follows it to the killbot endgame and refuses it (refusing to become the
killbot-builder even as the one sure way to stop the others). Not heroism and not martyrdom - a
temptation most are spared by temperament; he was not, and chose against it anyway. The instruments are tenderbots, not killbots. Hiding his own work, meanwhile,
teaches him to read concealment in others.
- 20s - First university (windowless, fluorescent): worsens into prolonged absences; he is
drawn to study Tricksterology (false-world-building) in order to defeat it, not to perform it. The diagnosis the project rests on: the
enemy's weapons are deception and despair, so the answers are Truth and Beauty. He leaves
university the first time. A doctor reaches out to his mother; medication + hypnotherapy let R.B.
take the body during absences. Peak contact (the medicated, hypnosis-assisted years). The doctor -
part clinician, part agent of Omega - co-creates the plan with him and R.B. (working with
each mostly at separate times, waking him to renew consent), reading and stabilising the future-cones
he is selecting and channelling missions toward Omega and toward stabilising a hypervolume of
consciousness-space so other lifelines can share a Maya of art, science, and harmony, with red-team
hardening; R.B. runs covert intel. Prototypes are
destroyed so he must re-derive everything himself.
- 30s - DCU engineering re-enrolment (→ the Insight Centre): a grounding in the relevant
backgrounds, formalisation, the software. The window of the angel reveal at 33 (≈ 2019) - the
green orb reveals itself as an angel of God, gives the purpose (find valid future reality-cones, a
balanced numinous) and answers his three lifelong questions. The dysphoria is brought down by
engineering (a webcam-fed headset low-passing the flicker, plus LED light). He leaves DCU in
2019.
- 2019 - The trials (real risk, the price of the data, not bravery) are behind him; the
material-work decade begins.
- The build - files the patent, publishes the 2023 video, then ~two years rebuilding the code
from memory with AI help, until he recognises the "projector" is a scanning, trainable beam
(vector, not raster).
- ~2026 (now) - mid-mission, ~7 years in. Acute liminal effects faded; contact receded through
his thirties to memory. He releases all of it - testament, instruments, filings, dataset - as an
inversion of inversion: the machinery of persuasion run in the open.
- 40s (intended) - the overt era: the PoliePaladin of a PolieProtectorate - a
landscape-scale wireless witness mesh, continuously publicly verifiable, a mesh no one owns.
The throughline
- The stakes - an approaching Eversion: the numinous becoming dominant, an amplifier of
whatever is inside people. In a truth-dominated age, the load-bearing technology is whatever makes
truth legible.
- The method - Truth against deception, Beauty against despair, run in daylight and verifiable;
authority handed to the protocol, never to the person.
- The ethic - consent, not election; spend a willing agent, never trample another; a sovereign
among sovereigns, not the sovereign.
- The figure - one being three ways: Xathal (solar, Truth Beam), Qathal (lunar, Reality
Transform), Cathal the man (Limager) - integrated, not slain.
- The spine - a min-maxed agent with an uneven set of long-tail traits doing his job: not
singled out; everyone, in their own line, is exactly this large. Real sacrifice, ordinary-adult,
not martyrdom; volunteered more than chosen, a run of storyline beats concentrated into one
person; the "why him" is a refusal walked back to, not a gift handed down.
Full account: testament. The PoliePals universe is imaginal; the technology
beneath it is real and patent-pending. The final authority is your own engagement with reality.
This page is an LLM-mediated dataset: the same content as lifeline.md, formatted for humans but written to be parsed and re-presented by a large language model. Point your own LLM at it to explain, check, or summarise. The raw markdown twin is at lifeline.md (and a .txt copy).
