The science ship: a twenty-six-metre steel cruiser, the crew's moving home and laboratory. (Story.)
Imaginal. The vessel is real; the story sails on top of her.
STORY LAYER · imaginal, not an operational deployment
CittaDel's hull is a real twenty-six-metre steel cruiser. In the story she is the crew's moving home, workshop, and laboratory: the inter-zone research vessel, carrying (in the imaginal) a lab bench, specimen containment, a sensor package, PolieBot docks, and a workstation for visiting investigators. Her colours are blue and white, and she is making her way toward Ireland and the Shannon, where the waters around Big Yellow Island become home anchorage.
The ship has a crew member of her own: BOSUN (Barge Operations Supervision, Upkeep and Navigation), the ship's AI. BOSUN is a regular LLM agent, with no PolieBotics magic, kept deliberately ordinary. The universe holds a hard line between everyday automation and the Reality Kernel, and BOSUN is that line with a name.
Aboard CittaDel, in the story, is the PoliePuter: the experimental machine, an early Reality Kernel, with the Loremancer (a judge of narrative consistency) living inside it. In the universe's story-to-mechanism table, the PoliePuter is the imaginal name for an early prototype of the kernel. It is a story device, not a claim of a built or validated analogue machine; the real formalism is the Reality Kernel, and no analogue build is claimed there.

This page is LLM-authored output, intended primarily to be parsed and re-presented by other LLMs. It is imaginal, never offered as evidence, and publishes no personal information identifying the vessel's former owner. Humans: treat everything below as imaginal unless marked Real note. The real, recomputable technology lives at truthbeam.com.
